Travis Sloan, a competitive wakeboarder with more than eight years of experience, takes groups on his boat for three-hour wakeboarding lessons, during which students learn how to stand up on a wakeboard and perform fundamental skills such as jumping wakes, flipping, and spinning. Each class is limited to three participants, and customers purchasing the single-person option will be placed with two other students. Available times include 9 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1 p.m.–4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–11 a.m. on Saturdays.
Travis Sloan has earned the right to call himself an expert wakeboarder. For more than eight years, he has competed in locations from North Carolina to California. His passion for the sport led him to become an instructor, and now he shares his expertise with boarders of all skill levels. On Lake Norman, Travis helps his pupils get up, jump waves, and flip through the air, and his classes also cover wake surfing, wake skating, and wake hopscotching.
