Located at the corner of Sharon Road and Fairview Road, SouthPark Mall is the largest mall in the Queen City, and one of the largest malls in the entire Piedmont North Carolina region. When it opened in 1970, it was considered to be on the outskirts of the city. Most people were skeptical about a shopping mall being built on top of acres of empty land, as most successful shopping centers are located in the heart of bustling urban residential areas.

To many people, few things top a great day shopping with close friends. Of course, in order to have a great shopping trip you must find a good outlet mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Queen City is known for a variety of attractions and Concord Mills Outlet Mall is one of the most popular attractions in the area.

Located just 20 minutes from uptown, Concord is the second largest city in the Charlotte, NC Metropolitan area, and the twelfth largest city in the state of North Carolina, in terms of population. This comes as no surprise, considering all of the great attractions located in Concord.

SouthPark is a large neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. Originally, this part of town derived its name from SouthPark Mall, which is the largest shopping mall in Charlotte and in all of North Carolina.
